1. Gil Cuerva turned 22 last August 21, but GMA Artist Center threw him a birthday event last August 17.

2. The showbiz newcomer is very thankful that even if he’s been in the industry for just less than a year, he has has already grown his fanbase, so he decided to celebrate his special day with them.

3. The host that day was the beautiful and talented Arianne Bautista, who is also from GMA Artist Center and is part of the successful show Ika-6 na Utos.

4. The birthday bonding session with the fans was held at the Bengal Brew/Wolf & Bear cat and dog cafe because Gil is also a huge pet lover.

5. While Gil likes cats, he prefers dogs.

6. There were about 20 dogs that day in the venue; the number of dogs present varies because some of them shed so they have to be brought to a colder place while they grow their fur.

7. There is an assortment of dogs at Wolf & Bear; some are small and some are really big.

8. There are also different breeds to service the diverse market.

9. There was this one big black poodle there and it instantly caught Gil’s attention because he has a similar-looking one named Duchess.

10. Gil also liked playing with the small, cute dogs.

11. The small dogs seemed to like him back coz they all flocked to him.

12. Aww. Look at that.

13. Asked for his birthday wish, Gil shared that it is “to have a great and fruitful career and to meet beautiful people along the way.”
