One artist we are excited to see more of this 2017 is GMA 7’s Kate Valdez. 

Beautiful (as you can see in these photos by THE Doc Marlon Pecjo) and talented in acting (she delivers great performances as Mira in Encantadia alongside established actresses like Glaiza de Castro), Kate – no doubt about it – is the next big star of GMA.

People have pointed out that she resembles Angel Locsin. We can see it a little, but we can also see that she has the potential to be a more sosyal and fasyown version of the former Kapuso star.

And then there is also that Liza Soberano resemblance. There are lots of photos proving this, but we’d like to think she is more of the morena version of the Kapamilya star.

While these resemblances are giving her buzz, we can only wish Kate would own her own look and that she would one day be known not just as the Liza/Angel lookalike.

Considering she has acting talent, good looks, and that X factor, Kate is someone her home network should take care of and push for and invest in because everyone can see just how promising she is.
