Who dafuq eats a burger patty with rice???

Well, Pinoys do.

Burger patty as ulam is so common that Jollibee has included the Burger Steak (burger patty with gravy and mushrooms, plus rice, of course) in its regular menu. It also comes in different forms. Remember the Big Burger Steak Supreme with Fries??? If not, that was a 1/3 pound of Champ patty served on fries, poured with gravy and mushroom. And with rice, of course.

Anyway, Jollibee loves the Burger Steak so much they have a new product called Sweet-Spicy BBQ Burger Steak.

Here’s all you need to know.


1. It will be available starting tomorrow, July 15, 2016. As in for dine-in, take-out, drive-thru, and delivery.


2. It is made with 100% pure beef patty topped with a sweet and spicy barbecue sauce, plus corn kernels. And yes, there’s rice, of course.


3. Prices: P50 for 1-pc solo, P55 for 1-pc value meal, P80 for 2-pc solo, P85 for 2-pc value meal.

4. Nadine Lustre and James Reid are endorsing it. They have a commercial for it, and it will premiere this Sunday, July 17, 2016.
