5 WAYS JOLLIBEE IS CELEBRATING THE PINOY SPIRIT THIS 2016
By the Numbered PH team
The Philippine Independence Day is just around the corner
and in time for that, Jollibee just introduced a campaign called
#PinoyAndProud: Ang Sarap, Ang Saya Maging Pilipino! held at the Jollibee E.
Rodriguez branch last May 31, 2016.
“Being a homegrown Pinoy brand is always a source of immense
pride for Jollibee,” said Francis Flores, Global Chief Marketing Officer and
Head of Marketing. “This year, we are celebrating
the amazing Filipino spirit and our unique traits that put the sarap and saya
to being Pinoy.”
So how exactly is Jollibee celebrating Independence this
year? Read on.
1. Jollibee enlisted hitmakers Thyro and Yumi to come up with a
#PinoyAndProud anthem so they wrote one called Sarap at Saya, which captures
the resilient, compassionate, and joy-filled Filipino spirit. And it’s catchy
AF, as well, so yeah, we love it.
2. Remember those cool Jollibee stickers on Viber? They have a
brand new sticker pack, specifically spreading the #PinoyAndProud message, and
it’s gonna be available for free download very soon.
3. There’s a new Yum! Burger in town and it’s very, very Pinoy.
The new Adobo Flakes Yum! Burger has adobo flakes (apart from the beef patty)
plus a special adobo sauce, and it’s priced just P59.
4. There is also a Halo-Halo Sundae (P35) now. so what if it’s
already raining? You should still line up for this very Pinoy dessert, which
makes the sundae more special with halo-halo toppings such as beans, macapuno,
and nata de coco.
5. They just released a limited edition ChickenJoy bucket featuring Jollibee and his squad wearing Barong Tagalog and Filipiniana. Cute! (@bestfriendjollibee)
